Meet Mr. Tyler, Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Hi everyone!

My name is Mr. Tyler and I'm the Middle School Social Studies and 7th Grade Homeroom teacher for this school year! This will be my 2nd year teaching at Friendship Academy, so I'm excited to see familiar faces and to meet new scholars and their families! In my spare time I like to play basketball, listen to music (mostly rap and r&b/jazz), and keep up with current events and politics -- like all social studies teachers do! I love teaching social studies because I LOVE seeing our scholars grow and develop to become real changemakers in our communities and around the world.
